누군가가 세상으로 보낸 작은 새가 있습니다

거친 바람 속에서 살기 위해 이세상에 보내진 거에요

바람을 안고 태어나 바람 속에서 잠이 들었지요

이 작은 새는 누군가가 세상으로 보낸 것입니다

 

He's light and fragile and feathered sky blue

So thin and graceful the sun shines through

This little bird who lives on the wind

This little bird that somebody sends

 

새는 가볍고 연약하고

하늘빛을 띈 깃털을 가졌습니다

너무 가냘프고 우아하여

햇살이 스며드는 듯 했습니다

바람 속에서 사는 이 작은 새는

누군가가 세상으로 내려 보낸 작은 새였습니다

 

He flies so high up in the sky

Out of reach of human eye

And the only time

that he touches the ground

Is when that little bird

Is when that little bird

Is when that little bird dies

 

그 작은 새는 사람 눈이 닿지 않는

하늘 높이 날아다닙니다

오직 단 한번만

그 새가 땅에 닿을 때가 있습니다

그건 작은 새가

이 작은 새가

작은 새가 죽을 때 뿐이랍니다
